Purine nucleoside phosphorylase N02

The purine nucleoside phosphorylase N02 is of bacterial origin and thermostable up to 60°C. Purine nucleoside phosphorylases catalyze the reversible phosphorolytic breakdown of the N-glycosidic bond of (deoxy)ribonucleosides, with the formation of the corresponding free purine base and pentose-1-phosphate.

A double desalted, almost phosphate free version is available for application in phosphate detection assays such as the MESG assay.
