NdT03 is a nucleoside deoxyribosyltransferase (type II) from Limosilactobacillus reuteri (formerly Lactobacillus reuteri). Type II nucleoside deoxyribosyltransferases catalyze the direct transfer of the 2-deoxyribosyl moiety from a 2′-deoxynucleoside donor to a nucleobase acceptor through a one-step reaction and allow the transfer between purines and/or pyrimidines (Pur↔Pur, Pur↔Pyr, Pyr↔Pyr).
NdT, nucleoside 2'-deoxyribosyltransferase type II, NDT, trans-deoxyribosylase, deoxyribose transferase, DRTase, purine(pyrimidine) nucleoside:purine(pyrimidine) deoxyribosyl transferase, nucleoside trans-N-deoxyribosylase, nucleoside:purine(pyrimidine) deoxy-D-ribosyltransferase
2-deoxy-D-ribosyl-base1 + base2 = 2-deoxy-D-ribosyl-base2 + base1
Base1 and base2 represent various purines and pyrimidines.
Recombinant from E. coli, purified by His6-Tag affinity chromatography. Produced and sold for research purposes and in vitro use only.
