AMP phosphorylase AM01

The AMP phosphorylase AM01 corresponds to the Thermococcus kodakarensis deoA gene and is thermostable up to at least 80°C. AMP phosphorylases catalyze the reversible conversion of AMP and phosphate to adenine and ribose 1,5-bisphosphate (R15P). In addition to AMP, AM01 exhibits phosphorylase activity towards CMP, UMP and GMP. This enzyme is sold as active inclusion body.
