Nucleoside deoxyribosyltransferase NdT02

NdT02 is a nucleoside deoxyribosyltransferase (type II) from Lactobacillus leichmannii. Type II nucleoside deoxyribosyltransferases catalyze the direct transfer of the 2-deoxyribosyl moiety from a 2′-deoxynucleoside donor to a nucleobase acceptor through a one-step reaction and allow the transfer between purines and/or pyrimidines (Pur↔Pur, Pur↔Pyr, Pyr↔Pyr).
