Polyphosphate kinase PPK03

The polyphosphate kinase PPK03 is a bacterial PPK2 (class I) enzyme. Polyphosphate kinases of the PPK2 (class I) family preferentially catalyze polyphosphate-driven phosphorylation (utilization of polyphosphate) of nucleoside diphosphates and can thus subtitute nucleoside-diphosphate kinases or be used as ATP regeneration system in kinase reactions.
